Stephan Geense

Stephan graduated from Erasmus University Rotterdam in 2009, specialising in Commercial and Transport Law. To further develop his expertise, he subsequently completed the Marine Insurance Professional Programme at Erasmus Academy Rotterdam and the Dutch Professional Training Programme for Lawyers at the Centre for Postgraduate Legal Education.

Over the years, Stephan has gained extensive experience as a lawyer with a focus on inland shipping, as a Senior Legal Counsel at a large multinational company, and as a lecturer in Commercial Law.

Since February 2026, Stephan has been the Manager of the Claims Department at Post & Co and works as an all-round Claims Handler.

Stephan is a member of the Dutch Transport Law Association (NVV) and the Dutch Association of Corporate Counsel (NGB).
