Hans van Berghem

Hans van Berghem has been with Post & Co since 1992 and has been involved with our Marine portfolio from the very beginning. Initially working as a broker, he later took on the role of Underwriter & Broker, with a strong focus on Owners' P&I and Charterers' Liability.

Currently, Hans is responsible for both active underwriting and broking activities within Marine Liability in the broadest sense, as well as serving as  CCO. In this role, he oversees the development, management, and overall commercial operation of the various binder and broker solutions offered through our different offices.

Finding innovative, out-of-the-box solutions for a wide range of risks, combined with tailor-made market solutions, lies at the heart of his approach.
