Frans Dieleman

Frans Dieleman began his career in the maritime industry with the Royal Nedlloyd Group in 1981, where he held various commercial positions. In July 1994, he joined Post & Co.

Following comprehensive training under the guidance of the highly regarded Jan Ruibing, Frans developed into an all-round claims handler. He subsequently specialized in claims involving (mega) yachts and the fishing industry, covering both small-scale coastal fisheries and large trawlers, including the Taiwanese fleet. In addition, Frans is responsible for handling reinsurance claims on behalf of Steamship Mutual.

Frans has undertaken a range of professional training courses in the United Kingdom on P&I-related matters, including the Maritime Law Short Course at the Faculty of Law of the University of Southampton in 1998. He holds the Wft (Financial Supervision Act) diploma for non-life commercial insurance.

His primary area of expertise is personal injury claims involving crew members and passengers.
