POST & CO (P&I) B.V. COMPREHENSIVE CHARTERERS’ LIABILITY PROGRAM

P&I_flag_01s

For many years already POST & CO (P&I) B.V. are leading brokers in handling comprehensive Charterers’ Marine Liability programs specifically tuned to meet with the ever increasing demands from the complex industry. These vary from the usual Time and Voyage charter activities on commonly known charterpartyforms – see www.bimco.org - with traditional cargoes carried on conventional tonnage up to the more complex trading activities of container carriers (including pre- and on-carriage, storage, transshipment at hub ports etc) as well as special shipments (heavy lift, project cargoes, tug and barge operations, offshore activities) for which activities quite often special terms are agreed.
As long as the majority of P & I Clubs will be part of the International Group of P & I Clubs it is only logical that the traditional cover provided by each of them will be very similar, or at least comparable. Nevertheless P &  I Clubs are different in their approach on typical Underwriting matters, or services in general, and it is our job to know and guide our clients.

These tailor made packages combine the traditional types of Insurance in one format which gives the advantage and the certainty to the Insured that only one document deals with all the aspects of the cover, summarized as follows:

Charterers’ P&I Insurance
